A BIT ABOUT THERAPY
What is therapy like anyway?
Therapy begins by creating a relationship with your therapist. We absolutely encourage you to find a therapist with whom you "click."
Therapy sessions will look different depending on the client and their needs. We do not use a "one size fits all" approach. Your therapist will ask you specific questions to develop an understanding of your unique life circumstances.
We walk with you as you make changes in your life and relationships. Our role is to move toward the goals you set for yourself or your relationships.
It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix. Therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the client and counselor alike. By making small changes and utilizing healthy coping skills you can have life-altering results.

Life is not what it's supposed to be. It's what it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.
