MEET
CLAIRE
Claire Prather, M.S., LPC-C is a graduate of Oklahoma State University’s Mental Health Counseling program. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate currently practicing under supervision as she completes the requirements for full licensure. Claire is trained to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and she strives to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to pursue healing and growth.

Claire utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as the foundation of her work & integrates techniques from Narrative Therapy, Cultural-Relational Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to best meet each client’s unique needs. She has experience working with a variety of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. Claire is particularly passionate about working with individuals struggling with or recovering from eating disorders and emphasizes a compassionate, holistic approach to healing.

As a Christian, Claire welcomes the integration of faith and mental health into the counseling process for clients who desire it. She values authenticity, balance, and the belief that meaningful change begins with understanding one’s story. Claire has witnessed meaningful transformation through the collaboration of a therapist’s knowledge of mental health and a client’s deep understanding of themselves.

Outside of her work as a therapist, Claire enjoys running, spending time with her fiancé, and playing a good board game with friends. Her rate is $95 per session, and she does not currently accept insurance.
