Matt Mills is a graduate of Oklahoma State University’s Marriage and Family Therapy program and the Pastor of a local church. Having earned a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University, Matt worked as college minister for 15 years before seeking training as a therapist.
Matt loves working with families, children, adolescents, young professionals, and couples. He has a wide range of life experience that includes working with those who have experienced trauma, relationship distress, addictions, anxiety, and depression. Matt has seen clients in a variety of settings including, private practice, university counseling, and family crisis services. He has received training in the following areas: PREPARE-ENRICH and SYMBIS premarital counseling, Co-Parenting for Resilience, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Filial Therapy.
Outside the therapy room Matt enjoys spending time with his family and serving his local community through his church. He loves to coach his kids in their various sports teams and being out in nature. To unwind, Matt enjoys playing pick up basketball, running, and gardening.
As an LMFT Candidate, Matt charges $90 per session and does not take insurance at this time.
