MEET
SARAH
Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University, majoring in Psychology with minors in Pre-Counseling and Child Development. She is currently completing her Master's of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at OSU.
Sarah approaches therapy from a family systems perspective, viewing each person as part of a larger relational system. She values a collaborative, nonjudgmental, and empathetic approach in order to understand each person’s experience. Sarah believes growth happens when clients step out of their comfort zones and will challenge them to do so in order to best reach their goals. She draws from a variety of therapeutic models, tailoring her work to best fit each individual, couple, or family.
As an intern, Sarah offers a sliding scale based on income to help make therapy more accessible. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys running, cooking, reading, and is actively involved in her church. As a Christian, she is open to incorporating faith into the therapeutic process if clients desire.
Sarah is trained in PREPARE/ENRICH, a premarital counseling program designed to help couples build strong, healthy relationships.
As an intern, Sarah utilizes an income-based sliding scale for her clients.
