Ty has a passion for strengthening families through helping couples grow closer together. He has experience working with couples on the brink of divorce and helping individuals and couples who may be struggling with substance use. He is also certified in a premarital assessment called SYMBIS. Ty believes when clients are open to change, seek to change, and act on things they learn in therapy outside of the room, clients are often more happy with the results from therapy. Ty brings a background of working in ministry contexts and higher education. 

 

Ty is married and has a family full of girls. He enjoys playing hide and seek, Barbies, Candy Land, and most importantly loves movie night. Ty is active in his church and loves to run and bike. 

 

Ty holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma State University and is a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist Candidate. He is currently providing therapy under licensed supervision as he completes the requirements for full licensure. Ty works with parents of children (11 and under), adolescents (12 and up) with their parent, adult individuals, and couples.  Ty charges $95 a session and does not accept insurance at this time. He also sees all clients remotely through telehealth services across the state.
